Hello,
Thank you for your wonderful mod "Oh The Biome You'll Go"!
I am currently creating a port of the End biomes using MCreator.
While I create original trees and structures, I am trying to replicate the overall atmosphere quite closely.
I also plan to add Nether biomes in the future, but I won't add any Overworld biomes.
This project is for non-commercial use only.
However, I would like to ask your permission to use the original textures as they are.
Also, I would like to ask if it is acceptable to use the mod name "Oh The Biome You'll Go" in the title of my unofficial port,
such as "Oh The Biome You'll Go - End Biomes Port (Unofficial)".
I will clearly indicate that this is an unofficial project to avoid any confusion.
Could you please let me know if this is possible, or if I should create my own textures instead?
And also, if you have any preferences or conditions regarding the use of the mod name, please let me know.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration!
(sorry for my low English skill)
Hi, as per our copyright, all BYG assets are under All Rights Reserve. This means you cannot use any of BYG's assets, this includes trees, structures, artwork, AND any names. This essentially means you cannot legally port and distribute this project publicly on any publication site. I strongly recommend you go back to the drawing board and come up with a unique and original end and nether biome project. Our development team already is porting our work which we have the legal right to do so. I have to for legal reasons, once again state you cannot port any of this content and distribute it on any publication sites.
