What happened?

Both Yellow and Blue Nether Brick Stairs are unable to be broken and re-obtained with any pickaxe. All tools have the same mining speed which is very slow and once the stairs are broken, they don't drop as an item. The Efficiency and Silk Touch enchantments have no effect on the outcome.

P.S: I am playing with other mods, however I only tested the tools in the base game (wood, stone, iron, gold, diamond and netherite).

Did you isolate BYG?

I did not try BYG alone

After a little more testing, I have found that Blue and Yellow Nether Brick Slabs also have the same issue. Pickaxes mine incredibly slowly and the slabs don't drop when broken.
