When planting or felling an Orchard apple tree, there is block desync on a 1.19.2 Forge server.
I've included a debug.log along with screenshots of steps to reproduce.

I've also tested without any performance optimization mods on client or server to make sure Pluto or Performant, Rubidium, etc. weren't interfering with things.
Config reset on both client and server done. I fear a mod interaction, but it's rather odd that the issue is only occurring for one tree type.
The other trees from BYG that I've tested until now work fine, along with vanilla trees.

I wonder if the apple "plants" attached to the leaves aren't causing an issue. Apologies if I'm totally wrong on that.

If not reproducible on your end, I will try to duplicate the server and test with BYG only.

Did you isolate BYG?

I did not try BYG alone

Did you read and understand the above agreement?

  • I agree.

Also happens to Skyris apple trees as well.

To add to the issue, with my specific combination of mods, BYG was causing severe desync with its doors, and with Create belts. I also had to remove Everycompat which was also having door desyncs.

I am unsure whether it is a mod conflict or 1.19 specific quirk that has caused BYG and Everycompat to break, but I'm leaving the issue open just in case.

Specific to door desyncs: The bug was that one player alone using a door works fine, but placing, removing or using the door with a second player present, will be completely desynced.

I've included my modlist in case I missed a specific conflict with BYG.

Just in case, did you see the screenshots? I know, taking them at night was a big brain move. By all means though, I'll get a video up as soon as my friend is back online.

To be honest, I highly doubt this is a BYG issue, seems to be an issue with whatever mod you're using that knocks trees down not using the correct flags to notify clients of block changes. A video and the link to which mod is responsible for tree felling would be really nice to debug this, bc honestly I don't know where to start debugging this

No response in 30 days, so going to close this due to no response. Feel free to reopen this issue if you get that video. But I doubt this issue stems from BYG
