Pressure plate tags not working

Hi, pressure plates aren't working as expected. Adding #minecraft:pressure_plates to an exception group does not work.
Version is 0.23.2
Stepping on pressure plates is not a "block interaction". Pressure plate protection has a separate setting by default.
