I claimed an area around a pillager outpost, but the pillagers seem unable to cross chunk borders and get stuck.

I saw no configuration option that seems to relate to hostile mobs in this way?

Update: now its suddenly working again? I'll still leave this here though in case it is a common issue.

It's part of raid protection.
