Given the broad spectrum (and dare i say randomness) of the mod it would be good to have a config toggle for each block/item...and not just the recipe, but releasing it's id entirely. not because they're bad, but because not everyone is interested in so many things just to get 2 or 5 features that are actually going to be used.

I second that. I'm just a click away of forking the project and compile a version without the items/blocks I don't want... but I'm already in my pajamas... :P

You can set the id of any of our blocks and items to 0 to disable
