Luggage despawning

These all occurred on a MagicFarm2 server, Version 1.4

I saw another issue with something similar but they were providing another feature with that post, I figured I should make a new post about it - if not sorry I will remember for next time.

I've noticed on the server I am on that they have a tendency of vanishing randomly as well. Three separate people had the issue within 5 minutes of each other. They were all on separate portions of the map and from what I can tell were all doing different things with them, there is a fourth person from an earlier incident as well.

Person #1:
Had just removed items from the luggage and then it despawned, or vanished.
"I placed mine on a ledge, where it dropped down a ladder then reappeared at the top. I opened it and traded it some items and had an item dragging around the GUI closed and the luggage turned back into an item and fell off the edge.There was no item at the bottom of the ledge when he went to check, and the item he was dragging around were 22 stacked redstone energy conduits from Thermal Expansion."
Person #2:
Had just used /tp and the luggage hadn't followed them, nor was it on the ground when they returned.

Person#3:
As for what I was doing I was fighting slimes on a slime island from a pillar while chester hopped around collecting the drops. It appeared like he turned into the sprite that you see in your inventory when you first make him, but he wasn't dropped as an item on the ground for me to collect, he just disappeared along with everything in him..

Earlier incidents These are both by the same person:
"This luggage disappeared after I logged out for ~1 1/2 hours for dinner. When I returned, it was gone. This luggage had also been struck by lightning and was enlarged."

"This luggage vanished while collecting seeds in an open field. I did not log out, or have internet trouble at the time, and had accessed its inventory only 30 seconds prior.The field was in a flat area where the chest could not have fallen into a hole or had other pathfinding issues."

Closing this for now. If you notice it happen again with 1.2.5 (this weekend) or above, please open a new issue and we'll look into it more.

yep i have already noticed this issue and i have a potential workaround

Possibly fixed since build 143, but I'm not sure if it works.
