Suggestion:
When a Golden Egg is placed, it stores the player ID of the person who places it. When egg hatches, it gains the head of the player (vanilla item) with the ID that was stored on the egg.
I think it fits. Rather then having the face it has, it'd have the face of its placer. Fits with its name.
