The idea is to allow building guide patterns to be moved from the origin point defined by the guide block's position or rotated about that point. This would allow ellipsoids to be rotated for example. I have a particularly intricate building plan in mind and would like to avoid using a tool like binvox unless absolutely necessary.

The item or block itself can implemented in several ways: a tool, an upgrade to the building guide, and a block placed next to the guide are all options. I don't think you will be able to avoid a GUI this time.
