After the first crash upon starting a new world (which I am told was a vanilla bug but seems to be caused by a strange oil biome from Buildcraft which I can't turn off in the config), upon rejoining the world I spawned underwater, gravel fell on me and another instant crash, apparently by Extra Utilities.
