After installing Optifabric with optifine on 1.20. The search box on Roughly Enough Items does not work. When I type in the search box, nothing comes up in the box. Once I remove optifabric and optifine the search box works again.

I have also tried a new instance with just Optifabric, optifine and REI and same issue.

I think this bug existed since the 1.19.4 version, and it also occurs with JEI (fabric version). A temporary solution for now (that I'm using in 1.19.4, not tested in 1.20+ yet) is to use EMI instead of REI, it's pretty much the same as REI with some additional features that I'm too lazy to figure out.

Oh sorry my bad : D I forgot to say, but for this workaround to actually "work" you need to install JEI alongside EMI (yes they do work with each other and that is intended, just remember to download the correct version of JEI for fabric). I just tested on MC 1.20.1 and I could still be able to type in the search box as usual, good luck :)
