Conflicts with shedaniel's Light Overlay mod

Tested with multiple profiles using 0.10.8-1.16.4, only the ones with OptiFabric stop this mod from working.
I know it's unrelated to OptiFabric, but there are instructions for OptiFine users to make the mod work on Forge. Think y'all could figure it out? Mod here: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/light-overlay
