I have optifabric and optifine, both in my mods folder. However, when i log into the game, it crashes, and when i check the log it says that optifine is not a forge mod and thats why it is crashing

OptiFabric is a mod for Fabric to allow OptiFine to work. If you're using Forge you should be fine putting OptiFine straight in the mods folder.
