i have had no issue with this on 1.18.2 or 1.17 versions this just arised for me when trying to use optifabric in 1.18.1.
i have redownloaded it and have also tried redownloading fabric and optifine no other mods are in the folder please help

I had the same issue and tried using optifabric 1.18.2 and it has worked
