What in the world is Exit Code: -1

So I'm setting up a massive modpack, and it's been a bit since I've made one. I get optifabric without Optifine downloaded and minecraft tells me i need optifine. I shrug and get optifine, however when i add the opfitine file into the mod folder, Minecraft crashes before the loading screen pops up and I get Exit Code: -1 and I have no fuckin clue what is going on.
Maybe wrong version? Optifabric file out of date or too early or whatever? I have no clue
It's 1.18.1, I made sure to download Optifine for 1.18.1, and Optifabric 1.18.1. I have nothing else I think I should add unless I do in which case... I'll add it later?
