The Fabric mod depends on architectury, but the README and the project pages fail to state that out.

Steps to reproduce

1. Boot up the game with Oracle Index installed, but without Architectury

Good catch, thanks. On the project pages the depencies are marked in the files, but the github readme was definitly missing it.
