Attempting to disable modded ores does not seem to work, used to work before v1.16.5-2.1.0.
Might be a bug, but have no way of testing it right now so could be potential user error.

Todo:
Test if disabling vanilla ore gen works then move on to modded with various mods. v1.16.5-2.1.0. might have broken everything??

Disabling Vanilla ore generation is confirmed working.

Update, its only ores not coded as a ore not being able to be tweaked.

I will write a fix for this tomorrow.
