Possibility to change length of effect of stuning

I am not a coder myself, I have minor knowledge.
Love the mod, I just got to ask myself a question is there a way to reduce the duration of stunning.
Normally I do believe that PVP in any forge servers is likely to appear even in minor scales.
The effect stunning can change easily the tides of any fight. Surprising people who doesn't find out about the effect or abuses them in any confrontation. Rendering the situation to grow and grow more be dependable to the stunning effect rather that the whole dept of PVP tactics.
Basically leading to a win to the one not having a stunning effect potion or the anyone carrying more milk on their pockets.
Is there a way we can configure through a config file, his duration.
Core: Duration on potions and arrows.
Secondary and not urgent:
(Noticed it blocks of directions but all set to false).
Durations for players and monsters.
Arrows in my opinion are rather balanced.
If you could reply here and guide me through changing the tick duration could be great.
Overall, I do pick this mod over the 99.99% it offers.
Is just the lead stunning long lasting effects that makes me worried people on an SMP++, and we know the users they will always abuse any flaw.
Your concern is very valid, one option would be to make the stunning potions unobtainable on your server. Otherwise the class that defines the tick duration of potions is here. I'll consider adding in game configuration in the future when I get around to adding a config file in general.
