I am making a modpack with farmers delight + Origins forge.

I found beefstew was not diet restricted for Avians. So I made a datapack that added beef stew to the "meats" tag for origins. I went in game and it didn't work.

After struggling for a bit, I went and just edited the meats.json file in the .jar itself. I went in game and beef stew is still not labeled as meat.
