Before you see this and think "This has already been resolved" hear me out.
The new version that fixes the issue is 1.19.2, not going to work with 1.18.2
honestly i would like to know what the issue was in origins and just try and change that so that it works with 1.18.2 since many of the origins i'd like to use simply don't work, even changing them to different keys in the mod didn't work
