I checked the code and it should increase my armor? I'm just not seeing anything happen, I tried standing on like a box of purpur blocks and having my friend hit me before and after. I couldn't see any difference.
Also editing the description to make it clearer what it's meant to do would be nice :)

If you're unable to reproduce it not working, it might be from my server editing recipes somehow?
