Not sure if anyone else has this, but eating meat-category foods seems to take longer for origins with the carnivore skill(could be the case for vegetarian, but i took that ability out of the modpack im making).
I noticed this when i was doing some testing and out of habit stopped holding down the right mouse button as soon as the eating animation ended, only to notice that the item didnt get used up and the hunger bar wasnt filled
It ended up only working when i held down the mouse for longer than the eating animation normally is(still particles, but no food moving in front of face)

already found the cause, had installed the goldensteaks mod and i guess it having to check modded meat-category food causes a delay?
