At night, cat vision causes every block and entity in the world to turn black except when lightning strikes - during which everything briefly appears for a split second. Lighting engine and rendering mods I use are Sodium and Starlight. Is Origins not compatible?

any chance you're using true darkness or a similar mod? origins night vision powers are the same as if you have the night vision effect, minecraft glitches to full darkness when you have both night vision and blindness(is also a problem for phasing power with night vision effect)
