basically the idea is to have a list of multiple interchangeable items for the fox to smell and search that will be considered like the same item.

for example, i'm making a pack with divergent underground and how fortunate. Those two mod change both ore block and their drop, so it's totally impossible for the fox to find all the variant of the ore.
With this addition, by making how fortunate ore drop item = vanilla ore = divergent underground ore = how fortunate dense ore, the fox will search for any of those in it's range if i check for how fortunate ore drop item or for a vanilla ore (as some block like divergent underground ore can't be picked up even with silk touch, and so is impossible to check for them).

this sistem could also be used as a solution to this two suggestion:
