Would it be possible to add compatibility to use blocks from within separate inventories such as bags. A specific example would be the Dank Storage mod which can be used as a bag that would hold large stacks of items. This would be extremely convenient when using the Multi Tool to place rows of blocks.

If you want to avoid association with other mods maybe there can be a way to link single/multiple infinite or almost infinite barrel to a multi tool to use it's contents as building material.

I have looked into this before and it was very inconsistent on comparability.

Linking to my own blocks would work but still debating on how for the player to control. It would really need a GUI.
