[1.16.4] Packmode crashes with JEI installed

That shouldn't happen, but it happens.
With installed JEI, CT and Packmode, created a script that changes some recipes and added the #packmode ... line. now it just says java.lang.NullPointerException: PackMode API not created yet!
at com.teamacronymcoders.packmode.api.PackModeAPI.getInstance(PackModeAPI.java:10) <-- probably that line is not doing what it should do.
