[1.16.5] 1.2.1 crashes modpack on launch

Bug Description
When launching the game to try out 1.2.1 using our edit of the Infernal Origins modpack, the game crashes on launch with a NullPointerException which it claims is caused by PFM specifically. The only notable change since we tried 1.2.0 (which functioned but was laggy) is that we added the mod Cluttered (https://modrinth.com/mod/cluttered/version/2.1) so I assume this is either an incompatability with Cluttered, or a bug with 1.2.1 that only occurs on 1.16.5.
Tried looking through the logs to see if I could glean anything but nothing really stood out to me.
