Well that's just wrong information. The mod is compatible with Sodium and forks of it. This is a 1.16.5 1.2.1 exclusive issue where regardless of the mods loaded it will crash, it's an oversight/mistake I made when backporting to it, so downgrading to 1.2 will fix it until I can get 1.3 out. My computer is at the repair shop for the next few days so I have no ETA though.
