Incompatibility with Immersive Portals [1.20.4]

Bug Description
The game crashes before loading when launched with the Immersive Portal mod. I'm using the most up to date version on Minecraft 1.20.4, fabric loader. I have cloth config in my mods as well. I'm using the Modrinth launcher.
Reproduction Steps
Launch the game with these mods:
- cloth-config-13.0.121
- fabric-api-0.97.1
- immersive-portals-5.1.8
- paladin-furniture-mod-1.2.1
The game will crash before it starts.
