On 1.12.2.

Right clicking on a fruit with a torch in the offhand places a torch on the fruit.

Expected :
Fruit gets picked
Torch cannot be placed on fruit

I was able to recreate this issue. It also happens if the torch is in the main hand and gentle/easy harvest is enabled.
