Beet Soup and Beetroot Soup restore different amounts of hunger, possibly reversed

Beet Soup (This mod's item, requiring milk and pepper) restores 4 hunger, while the vanilla Beetroot Soup restores 9. Is this intentional? I would expect the opposite to be the case.
