In the legend of Zelda game it doesn't activate automatically, a way to activate it by right-clicking instead of based on distance would be more attuned to the game. an option for this would be awesome.

I second that this would be a useful addition. The alternative you can already do is switch to the item next to the paraglider to disable it, but that can get finicky as scrolling isn't always the most accurate.
Being able to simply right-click (even if it is a config option) would allow a nice QoL feature to further controlling the paraglider.
