Since parried projectiles count as if they were shot by the player, they can grant certain advancements (namely "Who's the Pillager Now?" from parrying a pillager's arrow and "A Throwaway Joke" by parrying a drowned's trident).
I don't know if this is something that can really be fixed, but it's something that I noticed and wanted to bring to your attention.
