NoSuchMethodError when using it in a mod

I'm creating a Minecraft mod and I'm trying to incorporate Patchouli to create an ingame guide book. I'm following the basic tutorial in this repos's wiki, but every time I try to compile the mod, it throws the following exception:

Am I missing something or is this a bug with Patchouli?
You must pass every runtime mod dependency through fg.deobf
(like you are doing already with JEI!), otherwise you are trying to run the game with names like func_12345_a
(like when running the modded game through the standard launcher) while in dev envs most names are actually descriptive.
This seems more like a support question to ask on our discord, to be fair.
