[Bug]: Elevator drops the passenger and works slowly

So basically, I was trying to build an elevator to test whether it works or it doesn't, and turns out it works but with a variety of bugs and issues. I built the shaft, placed the floor tracks on the same level as the floors are, connected them with elevator tracks, used an elevator refresher tool and adjusted everything I wanted. It should be working as expected, but it didn't work properly. The doors I placed right next to the elevator don't open. I've got in a different way, then I decided to choose the upper floor. The elevator lifted me for a several blocks and dropped me into the shaft, I died because was testing in survival mode. The elevator actually got to the second floor though. I decided to go down, but also decided to do that in creative mode now. The elevator doors were closing extremely slowly. The elevator took me down by a half of the way and dropped again, the elevator just teleported back to the floor track, stopped for 3 seconds and were going down with pressing my character into the shaft, since the doors weren't opening with no elevator around yet, I couldn't go anywhere. The elevator eventually went down to the first floor, but I couldn't get in as I was one block below it. I literally can't use it at all, it drops me, lags for some reason just like I'm having a high ping, but I can't be having it as I'm in a singleplayer mode and having a decent PC.
