Forge support has been dropped, it is now a nightmare to play if a single mod is not available for neoforge and neoforge support for forge mods is practically nonexistant

Forge on 1.21+ is simply not fun to develop for, and that's what it's all about. Their remaining team is way too small to reliable maintain such a big project.
