was working few days ago. removed every other mod and cleared configs still getting issue. and i noticed many config files were just blank text file with spaces maybe. check attachment got this from config folder added 2 broken config and one working. i dont know if its related to this issue.

just noticed a line with forgeconfigapiport.toml and the file looks like those blank text examples. notepad says its in CRLF encoding and good configs are in LF encoding.
removing this file launched minecraft just fine.

Yes, that’s the correct solution. I’ll have to update Forge Config API Port eventually to handle this case more leniently.
