Preflight Checklist

  • I am using the latest version of Ping Wheel for the corresponding mod loader.
  • The server I am playing on has Ping Wheel installed.
  • I have searched the issue tracker for a bug report that matches the one I want to file, without success.

Which mod loaders have you experienced the issue with?

Fabric

What versions of Minecraft have you experienced the issue in?

1.21.4

Expected Behavior

With the Ping-wheel mod (client) and plugin (server) installed, pinging icon appears directly at where crosshair is pointed.

Actual Behavior

When pinging, marker is not visible sometimes, only off-screen, or not at all.

Additional Information

Logs dont help much, as theres a lot of just warning everywhere with just resourcepacks that shouldn't be related, unless markers are affected by RPs. Tried on a singleplayer server to see if it was a client conflict, or a server problem, and it seems to work perfectly fine in singleplayer though.

Could not reproduce. Tested it with a clean Paper 1.21.4 Server (only the Ping Wheel plugin installed) and a Fabric 1.21.4 instance (Fabric API + Ping Wheel).

You might test if connecting to a different server yields the same issue.

You're right, after testing with a clean test server with just PingWheel mod + plugin, it works as intended. Definitely something with my server, my fault.

Found out more info: Removing Xaeros Minimap/Worldmap from client seemed to have fixed the issue completely. Most likely a user config setting interfering from Xaero
