Additional Information
I had the older version I think 1.20 or or 1.19 and it worked fine on our LAN server, but after updating to 1.21.1 pings are only showing for the person who pings, not sure why its like this or if it is supposed to be like this. any help would be appreciated. we have tried a few versions and the issue persists, both players are currently using "1.11.0" for fabric "1.21.1"
so after messing with it, even when we changed the channel via in game menu nothing would happened
but we went into Config and it was set to a specific number, changed it to default and now it works, sorry for bothering you with this, but thank you for your help and advice!
im pretty sure they are also on the same channel, not sure how that works but weve tried both entering the same numbers in the channel section as well, ill get their log in a second.
Hey, I could not reproduce this issue.
Can you make sure that both players are on the same channel? From your log, it seems that you are using the default channel, but maybe the other player does have a different channel set. They can use /pingwheel channel "" to join the global ping channel, or clear it via the settings menu.
If this doesn't resolve the issue, please ask the hosting player to upload a log for further investigation.

Not sure what you tried out so far, but the log shows that one of you is in the default channel while the other is not. If you clear out the channel field, you are using the global/default channel. If you set this to anything else, the other players who want to receive your pings have to set the exact same channel.
If you still believe this issue was caused by the latest update, please try installing the previous version of Ping Wheel (v1.10.3) again.
I don't think it was the most recent update, i was saying that we have been using this mod since 1.19/1.20 and it worked, but we updated our world and updated to the 1.21.1 version of PingWheel and it stopped working. ill try it out again, clearing both out channels and see if that changes and ill resend latest logs if nothing happens.
