Very sorry asking this question, but is there fabric port planned?

Another question - is there too much forge-specific apis used to make it complicated to port? (asking for myself, I am a software engineer, want to port this mod to fabric, but don't want to dive too much inside minecraft moding :))

This won't happen, sorry. I simply don't have the time for it and this process also isn't very fun.
