When transferring items to a chest they are not added existing stacks there are already some of the same items in the chest already.

Instead they are always added to the top left of the chest if possible and then onward from there. This is frustrating when I have set up and organised my chests to have items in certain places. It also means that some items may take up my inventory slots than they should meaning less items are able to be put in.
I've shown example below

I would like the pipe to put items in the chest as if it were Shift-Clicking,
Any Items that the same fill up existing slots first and then continue from top left onward.

Describe alternatives you've considered
I could fill up every slot in the chest, but I want to leave room for overflow and it doesn't always look very nice. Also if I ever want to add or remove items from the chest it's a lot more unnecessary faff.

Pipes sort in stuff exactly like hoppers do. That won't get changed.
