It would be great if there would be an option to change the connection type on universal pipes for each pipe type.

For example, you want to input energy into a machine but also want to output items/fluids/gas out of the machine, currently you need at least two separate connections on machines. With the option to change the connection type, each pipe type, you could input energy and output items etc. from machines only one connection needed.

Extracting pipes can only extract. This is done deliberately for performance reasons.
