The pipez mod is exceptional especially from a performance point of view, however there is no ability for anyone to extend it and add in custom integrations such as using the pipes for redstone, refined storage, applied energistics etc which you can do with other mods such as ender IO.

I would love an API to be exposed that allows me or other developers to potentially create additional pipes that can all be used within the Universal Pipe. So that we can use the same excellent lag free pipes for other mods such as refined storage etc.

Describe alternatives you've considered
EnderIO is not ported to 1.16.5 yet, mechanism doesn't do this stuff either and all other mods I've tried start to get lagy after a while.

We do not plan on making an API. You could technically load the mod itself and build onto that. But there will be nothing official.
