Players start out with a book for the mod; however, there is no recipe for it nor is there a config option to disable players from starting with said book.

A simple, but mod related recipe for the book and a config option to disable players from beginning with the book.

I currently looking for an easy way to disable the players from beginning with the book.

Is this still up2date? I saw this by chance and I started without any book ingame.

Books are currently implemented over https://legacy.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/patchouli ,so only if this mod is installed you should get the corresponding book.
I will add a better documentation for this to make this clear.
