Describe the feature

A new JEI type mod has come out called EMI, and it is becoming increasingly popular, especially in expert mode modpacks because of this feature it offers:

EMI happens to be fully compatible with JEI (they can be used side by side, and EMI will even make use of recipes added by JEI addons).

There is one flaw for us PneumaticCraft players - when it is installed, a lot of the JEI-specific QoL features like dragging from the item index onto an Item Filter widget in the Programmer no longer work.

It would be cool if those QoL features could be extended to work with EMI.

Reasons why it should be considered

EMI is already garnering a huge following (it works on Quilt, Fabric, Forge, Neoforge etc), and I only see this following growing from here on out. It'll probably be years before it overtakes the popularity of JEI, but I definitely see that being a possibility. PneumaticCraft should be compatible with it and JEI.

Additional details

Since EMI is capable of running in tandem with JEI, it may be possible to re-use a lot of the existing logic, but this is just a guess.
