(1.20.4 FTB Neotech) Crash Between Fluid Tanks and Mekanism's Fluid Tanks

Describe the bug
As Reported here I've confirmed and this issue is still a thing in Neotech. I'am not entirely sure if this is something that needs Fixing on Mekanism's Side or not, let me know if its the case and I'll report to them :)
How to reproduce the bug
- Open Gui of Pneumaticcraft "Small Fluid Tank"
- Shift-Click a Mekanism "Basic Fluid Tank"
- Crash/Freeze
Expected behavior
The Game should not Time Out.

The lockup is definitely in Mekanism (I can reproduce the problem: client freezes, and hitting pause in the IDE debugger verifies that)
Given this is 1.20.4, pretty much a dead-end version now, I suspect it's extremely unlikely this is going to be fixed in Mekanism, although you're welcome to ask them of course. But I can just blacklist Mek tanks from being inserted into the PNC tank gui.
Still seems to be an issue in 1.21.1, so I'll keep this open for now and see if a more comprehensive solution can be found, either in PNC or in Mekanism.
Just to note, not a Mekanism bug, just an unexpected interaction between PNC, Mek, and Neoforge. A proper fix will be in 1.21.1. I might backport to 1.20.4, but Mek tanks are not terribly useful in conjunction with PNC tank GUI insertion in any case (they only transfer 1 bucket at a time).
