Glass Opacity Issue

Describe the bug

When the Fusion compatibility resource pack is enabled, Pressure Chamber Glass textures will connect, but will render opaque. This bug is fixed when certain shaders- presumably ones which alter the rendering of glass- are enabled. This is in the FTB Oceanblock 2 modpack.

Image

How to reproduce the bug

  1. Open FBT Oceanblock 2 with Fusion 1.2.4 and PNC: Repressurized 8.2.9 installed (Sodium 0.6.9 and Iris 1.8.8 are also installed)
  2. Activate Fusion compatibility resource pack

Expected behavior

Pressure Chamber Glass textures will connect and remain transparent.

I tried switching to Embeddium with Monocle (which was a pain because of the Sodium addons that FTB had in the pack,) but it didn't work. I will not attempt a bisect, as there are over 300 mods in the pack, and it would be impossible to narrow it down without spending an inordinate amount of time, which I simply do not have.

It may be caused by Athena, which I believe is an Oritech requirement. I have second hand information that Athena is known to cause texture issues in conjunction with Sodium.

In any case, this isn't a PNC problem.

I was able to identify this issue as a problem with the resource pack specifically. I verified by placing down every other type of glass block in the modpack. The Pressure Chamber Glass is the only block with this issue, and only when the Fusion compatibility resource pack is active.

@Reabstraction do you know why this might occur?

I believe this may be happening because of some mod somewhere editing the rendering pipeline

Can you try a mod bisect? (Aka "remove half of the mods until it works, then narrow down the exact one"

Also, try ditching Sodium and adding Embeddium & Monocle, and see if the issue remains. This looks a little similar to a problem Sodium causes with PNC tank glass also rendering opaque (which doesn't happen with Embeddium).
