Not related, but great work on this mod, I'm loving it so far.

I haven't been able to reproduce your problem, although looking at the video, are you in creative mode there? When you place the drone down, it stays in your hand - suggesting that you are.

I'm in survival, that was another drone being supplied (the drone on the 2 slot disappears).
