Applied Energistics does not consume Lubricant buckets...

When crafting the speed upgrade with Applied Energistics' crafting method it does not consume the Lubricant bucket.
Normal crafting table crafting does consume the bucket.

commented

I can't reproduce this. The lubricant is always consumed in my testing, leaving an empty bucket. Tried this both with manual crafting in the AE2 crafting terminal, and autocrafting via a stored pattern. Works as expected both ways.

This is with AE2 rv5-stable-2, just for reference.

(Just to note, in case there's any confusion: the empty bucket should always be left behind. This is correct behaviour for crafting with any fluid-containing item; it's the fluid that gets used, not the container)

@Xiaminou Try updating your PNC:R version, as I think the Immersive Petroleum conflicts were already fixed.

commented

I tried updating but can't seem to be able to build it anymore which is why I'm waiting for Curseforge.
I don't really know what I'm doing when it comes to building from source.

commented

@Xiaminou Just recreate your dev environment and try building again.

commented

That's what I did.

@Xiaminou Here, try this. I just compiled it. Should work. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1CNNLjPkOTm4a8c9s2idLjD9o6TD7Izh1

@KamranMackey Thanks.

@Xiaminou No problem. ๐Ÿ‘

So it happened once more, and now it works.
The one time that it happened the "crafting plan" window was showing a PNC:R Bucket instead of a IP Bucket.

commented

Interesting. Not sure I can do much about it.

Upload of the first alpha is gonna be delayed a little, since I'm waiting on MineMaarten to upload a new version of IGW (current 1.4.1-8 release will crash in conjunction with this version of PNC:R). Hopefully soon, but not under my control :)

commented

@desht The gradle.properties file has 1.4.1-10 listed though, not -8, but does -10 crash too?

commented

The -10 build is from a Maven repo, and not on CurseForge, which only has 1.4.1-8. The current PNC:R code will not work with the -8 build because it's using new API from the -10 build. I won't be uploading PNC:R builds to CF until there's also a compatible IGW build on CF.

You can grab the 1.4.1-10 JAR from https://modmaven.k-4u.nl/ if you want to play with it conjunction with the current PNC:R dev code.

commented

Yeah it does not consume the lubricant in the bucket is what I meant.
I thought it was a weird one, I can't think of a reason why this is happening.

commented

Can you still reproduce this? I have not been able to.

commented

I will try in a new instance, but it occurred to me that it might just be because my version of PNC:R is outdated.
I take it the link you to PNC:R in the readme is still waiting to processed by Curse?

commented

@Xiaminou Yes, its most likely still in the approval stage. Frickin CurseForge. I get they need to sleep but I really don't like this new approval time stuff.

commented

Oh, I think I found a clue.
The Lubricant buckets I'm getting are from Immersive Petroleum.

Edit: hmm I tried to reproduce it with AE + PNC:R + IP but it does consume the Lubricant.

commented

@desht MineMaarten has updated the IGW Mod on CF to build 1.4.2-11. :) Just wanted to let you know.

commented

Yep, alpha release is uploaded to CF now, just waiting on approval.

As far as I can tell, this is all working OK now. Closing.
