phantom blocks from falling gravity blocks

We've been having an issue on our server where gravity blocks - sand, gravel, etc - in a stack will produce a phantom block when the top block in the stack falls. After some testing, it appears Polymer is causing this.
server setup:
Minecraft 1.19.2 server with Quilt Loader 0.17.3
polymer-all-0.2.13+1.19.2 in mods folder
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a fresh world and login with a vanilla client
- Fly in one direction for a minimum of 10 mins (creative or by elytra - teleporting doesn't trigger this as far as I can tell)
- Stack up several gravel (or other gravity-affected block) blocks
- In survival mode, break the bottom block repeatedly until the last block fall to the bottom
- Breaking the final block will leave a phantom copy of the block
You can walk through the block. Block updates may make it disappear, but you can also place a normal block in the same position and it will z-fight the sides of the two blocks. Relogging will remove the phantom block.

I have also had this issue since 1.19 on my survival server. I thought Krypton was the issue, then realized, after having had it removed for a while, that the issue still existed. Just saw this here and can definitely second this issue.
